Derived From Science

Text Book
Without even knowing it, you knew the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

A friend of mine, enrolled in a physics course, explained the Second Law of Thermodynamics to me one day. It was a random share. I did not solicit this information, but I’m not going to turn away free knowledge. I asked him a couple of follow up questions about the principal. It was interesting:
After two objects make contact, thermal energy flows spontaneously from higher to lower temperature but not from lower to higher temperatures.
So one day I’m sitting in the hot tub at the gym. We’ve all been there: the water feels like it scalds the skin, then after settling in it doesn’t feel so warm anymore, yet the body does. The Second Law of Thermodynamics is at work. My mind stewed on this idea and transposed the principal to the lives of people. A voice in my head spoke this poem:

Case Study: A Practical Application of the Second Law of Thermodynamics
Girl gave it up
to a player
passion
love
Now she in bitch mode
heart turned cold
Come here girl
and get up in these
arms
a hug warm enough
to thaw those
fucked up thoughts

I would like to end on a fun note. Homer Simpson, everyone:
